Overload of Pictures

Here is Tinks on her snow outing.
Jesse and I, got this cat in Cambria, CA. We thinks she looks like Tinks with her wild hair. She looks even more like her now because the rust is orange and the snow makes her white.

Jesse on Christmas Eve at nana Carolyn's House.

I decided to keep the Christmas eve tradition of wearing pajamas.

Here is our Christmas Tree and the ornament Mari got for us.

Here is Jesse opening his presents from his mom. We had to open them before Christmas!!!

We just got off of work so we look wilted.

We are still here!!!

I have been so busy, that I haven't been online in a while. I have been working at the Popcorn Colonel for the Christmas rush and boy was it a rush. There were mornings we were there at 7:30 and didn't leave til 6:00 pm. We popped almost 1000 lbs. of popcorn and it was exhausting. We had a white Christmas and we celebrated at our house this year. I have many pictures and will be getting them on here. We are enjoying ourselves here in Montana and can't wait to see what the New Year will bring!

Missouri River

Here is a picture of the river looking towards the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.
This is the river at the Black Eagle Dam, the river is frozen.

Here is the water coming out of the dam and it is frozen in a suspended motion.

This is another of the dam and the water that is frozen. There are men that are trying to move the blocks of ice so that the water can move through.

-24*F

It is Sunday morning, and it is -24*F. I told Jesse, I want to go outside to see what that feels like. We are getting ready for church and today I will get to see my step-brother. He is in for the weekend, but we haven't visited yet, because they were at a Christmas Party on Friday and yesterday we had the hug blizzard. Him and my parents will be coming to church with us and then we are going to celebrate grandpa Jims birthday at the Prospector. I'll let you know how it goes!!!

Here's Another, Dad!

Dad, here is another house I finished, it is the pharamacy. I get so excited to show you what I have done because you just sent me these. It is Saturday night and we are at -13*F; we went outside and our snot froze in our nose. You could feel the hard ice in your nose and then when we came inside my nose felt raw like I had blown it a million times. Cool HUH????
I am going to start the bakery next, so you can keep looking for it!!

3*F

This is our storm door going into the back yard; it is completely frozen so you can't see out of it. There is ice on the inside of the glass.
This is looking out our backyard towards the church; the visibility is only 1/4 of a mile.

Here is the door handle of the storm door on the inside; it is frozen with ice on it.

This is out our front door; the snow doesn't look deep and thats true, but the wind is blowing so hard that the snow is blowing away. There are mounds of snow like 3 and 4 feet high. It is currently ranging between 3*-5*F. The wind is like 27 mph.

This is looking down our street, I know you can't really see, but that is the visiblity. In some places, there is a whiteout, where you can't see anything.

Look Dad!

Here is the pond you got me. I am painting these holiday village buildings and my dad and Donna got me some from Michaels that I couldn't get here. I have a pond, tavern, saw mill, bakery, pharmacy, and flower shop from Michaels. Jesse decided that he wants to paint the tavern, he's only gotten the roof done!!!! Isn't it cool that you can see this right now? It's like you're in MT. Hope to see you soon Dad, Love you so much!
Here is my painted village so far... the pond, flower shop, and hardware store (ordered online). This is set up in the corner of my kitchen, but I am starting to outgrow this spot, so I might move to the bar.

Sunday Night!

We had a baby shower for a friend of mine from church; she actually already had the baby. Here we are so you can see my friends... Kim (mom), Kari, LauraBeth, and Below is Robin. Oh, and baby Gabriella!
I had to put this on here, this is the first cake I actually decorated with writing!

My baby has her winter coat and I can pull it into a ponytail, cute huh?

The Great Gift Giveaway

Ok, so I know you are wondering what the heck this is... At our church we talked about being selfish. A lot of times we are selfish because of our own agenda and we just don't have time. Well we talked about giving more to others and helping people in our community. As we were sitting in church, we all got these little jewelry boxes and we were told not to open them. As everyone got theirs Pastor Corey says to open the box. This money was inside and people either got $20, $50, or $100; they want us to bless people in our community. We aren't to just bless people who are in need, but we need to bless everyone, even the richest people. On our church website, you can read the special ways people blessed others; always be thinking of how you can bless someone. www.harvestsprings.com

Christmas Stroll cont.

Well, Friday night was our Christmas stroll and it was very fun. It was 20*F outside, but we were bundled up. They had a parade, that we missed because Jesse wasnt off of work yet. At the end of the parade they light the town christmas tree in front of the civic center. There was a picture of the tree being brought in and it took 2 lanes of the street; thats how wide it was at the base.
Ok, some of you know that I started working at the Popcorn Colonel; I have been there a week. Friday, I learned how to pop popcorn and I have to pop 35, 5lb bags. Thats right 175lbs. of popcorn. It was wild! Anyways, thought you'd get a kick out of that number!

Christmas Stroll

For all of you just wondering, we do not have a christmas tree lane here. Yes, this is horrible!! Christmas Tree Lane was invented in Fresno because there was a child that died on Van Ness St. the neighborhood started hanging these wonderful arrays of lights all over. Now, everyone drives down this street at Christmas Time to see the lights. Anyways, here in Montana we have the Christmas Stroll; on Central Ave (which is like old town Clovis, CA). We are supposed to walk down the street and look at the lights and you can buy snacks from vendors. The stroll is tonight, Friday. We plan on going and we will be updating you on how it goes!

We have more snow!!!

We have snow... this is a picture looking out our front yard. This pic faces the NE direction out of our house, the tree and firehydrant are ours. The road is out there somewhere! At the blue house, the lady just had a baby a month or more ago.

This picture is directly looking out our front yard. I thought these pictures were worth taking because the ground was soo white; no one had driven or walked on it and it was perfectly smooth. It is still very unique to have snow, we kind of study it because it is different from fog, rain, and hail. At the 3 car garage, the house is 3500 sq. ft. and they own Alias Smith and Jones.

We are back!!!

Okay, so I know this is a little creepy; but if you read on down the blog, you will see a picture of the horse that bit me. Here is the bruise from him biting me.
Gabe this is for you... Here is Jesse trying to wrangle the dog up so you can see how big he is compared to him. The rooftops in the background is where my grandma and grandpa live. Their garage door is open.

Look how buff my baby is... isn't he handsome?

Alright Lisa, here is another sunset for you! Happy Birthday!

We can't get the dog to sit still for a picture!!

We are back!!!

Here is Tinks when we first moved here, she is absolutely freezing.
I thought you might enjoy these, this is when we moved here. We were in Lehi, Utah, and we had to leave early the next morning because there was a huge snow-storm coming. We were already scared of the snow we had.

Now, we are at Thanksgiving 2008, this is on some property by my moms house.

Here is the front of my moms house. There is a fence and everything on this side is not her property. The house is massive huh?
