God Provides cont...

I am adding on to the last awesome God story... When Jesse got this job with the guy from church we had found out he was going to get paid every two weeks and the check would come right before the mortgage was due. Well, later we found out the check would be for only one week, I guess they hold the first one for while. Don't ask me why, I really don't know; if you have an idea let me know! Anyways, we were very scared because we thought it wouldn't be enough for our mortgage; it would be like he lost a week of work. Yesterday, he got his check and we estimated it would be about $600 which wouldn't be enough for our bills. It ended up being that and then some, we didn't calculate the time and a half. You can call it a booboo on our part or you can see how faithful God is. He also got extra money for the orientation which was supposed to be on the week they hold. It worked out so we could pay the majority of the bills, which we didn't even expect to do.

Mahala, this is for you...

Mahala, do you remember making this for me? I have it in my Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations. I pulled it out the other day and I wondered if you remembered it. It sits on the very edge of my counter so everyone will see it before all the other decorations!!
Well not much is going on here... we have been going to church, bowling, and thats about it. I made a box to put votes in for the best costume at my neighbors Halloween Party. Jesse finished the Golf Putter Green for the church's Harvest Party, it turned out very professional. Yesterday and today were in the 30's, so it is a little chilly. We haven't had anymore snow, the weather has been actually pretty nice. Don't really have much to say, We miss everyone! Maybe after this weekend I'll have more to tell you.

Do You Dare?

Well not much new is going on, all the snow melted away :(
We have been doing, The Love Dare by Stephen and Alex Kendrick. As some of you know, it is a 40 day challenge to learn how to love your spouse. If you aren't reading this book already, then try some of these dares. If you want to get more in depth with this book, you can buy it at any book store. I dare you to try!!!

Day 1: Love is Patient
Do not get impatient, be very humble. Do not say anything negative to your spouse, if you feel you have to, say nothing at all.

Day 2: Love is Kind
Kindness is: Speak Gently, Be Helpful, Willing to Agree, and Take Initiative on Needs. Do one act of kindness today as well as be patient.

Day 3: Love is not Selfish
Where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder. (James 3:16) Invest money into your spouse to show them you were thinking of them today. Be Patient

What's New in Montana...

Jesse is doing the Love Dare, he got me these flowers because he had to do something nice for his wife!!
It has been soo cold and my poor baby has been freezing, we put her nice vest on. Doesn't she look thrilled?
Tinks was helping daddy clean out the garage, it was too cold for mommy!!!
We woke up Sunday with snow, we started to think we weren't going to get any. This is our first snow of the 2008 winter. We did have snow in June, so it is not the first in our house. It has been in the 30's; it is absolutely FREEZING!!
This is Charley's first snow, he thinks we provided him with his own snow-cone machine!! He loves to lick snow and then he ends up with a mustache!

God Provides

Do ya'll wanna know how awesome God is? Jesse got hired on at this company and we found out that he won't get paid for 3 weeks. The 3 weeks turns out to be 3 days before our mortgage is due. We thought we wouldn't be able to make it on time, but we will. Since he won't get paid for three weeks we had to go on what we had in the bank, most of that went towards bills and putting aside 1/2 of the mortgage. We had taken out money for food and tithing and what was left was $287, this had to last 3 weeks... Who knows what other bills, food, or problems might arise and we are almost out of money. When we went to pay the current bills, Jesse opened a piece of mail from our old insurance company, we cancelled because they were too expensive (By the way we had already gotten a refund check.) He opened the letter and another check was inside for $287, the exact same amount we had in the checking account. How do you not start crying, when God blesses you like that?

Birch Trees

We forgot to put the final picture of our birch trees, we dug all that grass up and made a flowerbed. I KNOW our trees are small, we are watching them grow. Plus they were FREE!! We got 6 trees total and we payed $26 how cool is that, it was an end of the year blowout!!

First Video???

Here is our first video, I don't know if the sound works or not. If not, this might be on here twice so you can hear my voice. We might become silent video stars!! I hope we can get this; if you have any suggestions, e-mail me and I'll try anything.

What's Going On

Yes, Jesse cut his hair, it was soo long. I AM helping in the picture below, I tore out grass too! We made a little flowerbed and planted Birch trees. We have birch trees like you Dad!!

Jesse and I got bowling balls a while back, and here they are!! We have the exact same ball just different weight and color.
Jesse and I started a small group at church and our first meeting was Sunday night. We had a wonderful time and it was soo awesome. We are doing a study called, Fireproof your Marriage. When we left there we were so pumped up, it's exciting to be involved in church and growing. We really feel that God has put us here to do great things. We feel that our marriage is growing like never before. We are closer to God and learning so much from Harvest Springs. Our study at church started the day my mom and dad got married so many years ago, and I feel like I owe it to my parents, as to Jesse, to really make our marriage work. It is easy to fall into satans traps and we chose we wouldn't do that.

We are both helping the church with the Harvest Party, which is a safe Fall Party on Halloween. Jesse is doing a putting course for one of the games and he is excited to be involved. I am doing signs for all the games and it has been a blast decorating and basically scrappin'.

I have been doing a lot of scrapbooking so when we get to come home we can show everyone the fun things we've been doing. It was nice making memories in California, but it's fun making memories in Montana too! We were put here for a reason and God will do his work!
We Love you all and miss you!!!

Amur Maple

This is the Amur Maple we planted in our front yard on the side of the driveway. Charlie was helping us by hiding his bone in the dirt we dug up. The tree is tiny, but we are excited to watch it grow! This is a more recent picture of Charlie, so he IS kinda big!

More Pictures For Ya'll

Here is Jesse opening his birthday present from my dad. He just got home from work, my dad sent him a Karoke Machine. We'll have a blast singing as soon as we get a surround sound set up.
Here is Tinks, she is helping me scrapbook or maybe she is just sleeping on my stuff!
Yes we still have Samantha Jane (Sammi)
Tinks is in my shoe box...
She gets on my cabinet in my bathroom when I take a bath. We hope everyone likes our pictures, it's nice to know that everyone can see us just instantly!!

House Pictures

This is our bedroom the window looks to the backyard. We got a new bedroom set, so that is what you are seeing. Below is our bed, there is another window that looks outside.
This is our living room we got these couches from my mom. We hung curtains on our windows and pictures on our walls. It was fun to decorate.

Montana

This is our Montana scenery, isn't it gorgeus? The skies are so clear and the air is clean. This is a refreshing place to be because it's peaceful and beautiful. Montana life amazes me everyday from the weather to the lifestyle; it's easy to fall in love with it.
