Well not much new is going on, all the snow melted away :(
We have been doing, The Love Dare by Stephen and Alex Kendrick. As some of you know, it is a 40 day challenge to learn how to love your spouse. If you aren't reading this book already, then try some of these dares. If you want to get more in depth with this book, you can buy it at any book store. I dare you to try!!!
Day 1: Love is Patient
Do not get impatient, be very humble. Do not say anything negative to your spouse, if you feel you have to, say nothing at all.
Day 2: Love is Kind
Kindness is: Speak Gently, Be Helpful, Willing to Agree, and Take Initiative on Needs. Do one act of kindness today as well as be patient.
Day 3: Love is not Selfish
Where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder. (James 3:16) Invest money into your spouse to show them you were thinking of them today. Be Patient

This sounds very interesting - something I would love to learn more about. Is this a class at church or is it a book you are reading?
Oh our church is doing the Fireproof series for 6 weeks, but we have also challenged people to do the Love Dare on the side for 40days. The dare is more personal, so you kind of do it yourself. Jesse and I are doing it, but we started different days, so we wouldn't expect something from one another, or if we fell on a dare.
Where have you been? Is everything ok?
Oh, I have been exhausted is all. Little Anastacia is teething and keeping me awake alot. I'm just running on empty so I haven't spent much time at the computer. I'm glad to see you two working so hard on your marriage - that blesses me. Very cute posts...and I've seen how much Tinks LOVES those clothes, you ain't foolin' me!!! The snow was beautiful, so sad for you that it melted away.
Hi Kari! Just wanted to pop in again and let you know I've enjoyed reading your blog. I love the pictures of the snow, so beautiful and your cat! Makes me miss my kitty! I love the post about the Love Dare challenge. That is great to be taking the time and effort to work on your marriage! It's the most important thing after God! The investment is well worth it...trust me, after 22 wonderful years of marriage, I can tell you, you won't be sorry! Be blessed!
